Joanna will present on the subject of “Defining the Gray Space between Wellness & Healthcare” at the annual conference taking place in Orlando, Florida from September 27 – 30.
First, in her native country, Poland, as a high level competitive athelete and then, when she received a certificate in body building including aerobics and fitness from TKKF – the premier and most recognized sports and fitness organization in Poland. She also has a Masters Degree in Polish and English Translation and Interpretation from Polonia University.
In the United States she became the assistant director of Camp Echo and the Manhattanville projects – summer camps designed to allow people with a wide range of developmental disabilities to enjoy outdoor life – sports, nature arts & crafts and music.
She then joined Equinox – by many considered the premier fitness company in America. As a Tier 3 trainer, she worked with her clients, their doctors and physical therapists to maximize the benefits of their individual programs.
Ms Fryben has focused her knowledge of high level competition, human physiology, bio mechanics, kinesiology, anatomy and nutrition on helping people achieve an optimal balance between mind/body.
