The World Medical Tourism & Global Healthcare Congress pronounces Dr. Mansoor Anwar as a speaker for the 8th World Medical Tourism & Global Healthcare Congress (WMT & GHC). The conference will take place from September 27 – 30, in Orlando, Florida. Mansoor is the Director of Medical & Occupational Health Services, Human Capital and Administration for du, the Emirates Integrated Telecommunication Company.
Dr. Anwar earned his medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2001. Afterward, he returned home to the UAE and worked for the government medical sector for 9 years. During this time, he became board-certified in Family Medicine, became a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners, and received a Master’s with distinction in Occupational Health.
In 2010, he joined du, the Emirates Integrated Telecommunication Company. At du, he established the in-house staff clinic and created the company’s wellness program. The wellness program was such as success, that du won an award from the government of Dubai in 2014.
For his efforts, Dr. Anwar was nominated to be the regional chair for the International Association of Worksite Health Promotion (IAWHP). Since this nomination he as actively worked to promote wellness in the Arabian Gulf.
