Shirley Weis is an author and former Chief Administrative Officer of the Mayo Clinic. Shirley was the highest ranking woman in the 150 year history of the Mayo Clinic. She recently retired from her role as Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, where she coordinated overall institutional strategy and operations of the $9 billion healthcare system for the 60,000 employees of the Mayo Clinic. She is known for her reputation as a world-class leader adept in combining leadership, communications and financial expertise to create sustainable collaborations that create value, drive revenue and create outstanding quality, safety and service.
Shirley is currently President of Weis Associates, LLC, a national consulting firm specializing in strategic planning and leadership development.
