Paula Cravott is currently the Director of Benefits & Wellness for BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc., in Westborough, MA, and is set to speak at the Employer Healthcare & Benefits Congress that is now less than two months away.
Prior to joining BJ’s, Paula held benefit positions in the software and manufacturing industries. She received her B.S. in Business Administration from Suffolk University and a certificate in Pension Administration from Bentley University.
During her career, Paula has shown success in plan design, budget analysis, vendor management and communication of corporate benefit programs. Her experience in different industries has shown her that no two communications programs are the same, whether the tools are written, electronic, or in-person you have to speak to your audience.
Her session at the EHBC is titled “Employers: Save Employees from Cleaning out their Email Inboxes by Helping them with their Benefit Options” which she present with DirectPath CEO Bart Yancey and Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. Senior Vice-President, Compensation, Benefits & HRIS, Paul Cortese. This session comes after a survey showing 38 percent of Americans would rather clean out their inbox then research benefit options. Attendees will learn that by aking an active approach to employee enrollment, employers can help employees better navigate their options and chose more cost-effective plans, thereby building employee loyalty and capturing information for audits regulation compliance.
“Benefits options are important decisions to make,” said Cravott. “But 90 percent of all employees roll over their options every year. When an employer makes an effort to reach and educate their employees about their benefits options, it improves engagement company performance and bottom line.”
