Wissam Mattout serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Allianz Worldwide Partners (AWP) for MEA region and is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and operational management of the company. In this role, Mr. Mattout has helped establish AWP and NEXtCARE as a respected, award-winning TPA of the year regionally. Under his management, AWP consistently achieves year-over-year growth, expanding its customer base by 100 percent or more each year.Prior to shouldering the RCOO role, Mr. Mattout served as Head of IT and Security of NEXtCARE, where he held various executive and management positions for seven years. Mr. Mattout’s responsibilities and influence extended throughout all areas of the organization including strategic planning and execution, corporate management, product development, technology deployment, and customer and operations.
Jill Harmatz is Senior Director of Provider Contracting in one of two regions in Southern California. She oversees the negotiations for hospital contracts, medical groups, and Ambulatory Surgery Centers in her region. She is involved in many cost saving initiatives at Blue Shield including bundled payments with ASC’s through Global 1. She worked for Care America since its inception before it was acquired by Blue Shield. Jill holds a B.A., M.ED. and an MPH from UCLA. In her free time, she enjoys spending time on the golf course with her husband watching their two son’s play competitive golf.
Shady Nawar is Head of Health & Benefits for Bupa Global Middle East. He has been with Bupa since 2010 and prior to this, he was a TPA Development and Contracting Manager. In his current role, Shady is responsible for the management and development of a huge medical provider network in the Middle East. In line with Bupa Global’s customer strategy, he is responsible for optimizing the expenditure of medical benefits working closely with hospitals and health providers in the region. Shady also internally champions the customer needs to ensure they receive the best claims and clinical experience. He is well recognized for his market knowledge, industry expertise and the strong grasp of the regulatory framework in the Middle East region.

Ambassador Agius is a career diplomat. He was born in Malta on October 21st, 1965 to Joseph AGIUS and Josephine neé ZAMMIT. Mr. Agius joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1993 as a First Secretary. In 1995 he served his first posting as a First Secretary at the Embassy of Malta in Paris. In 1999, he was posted to Geneva, Switzerland, at the Permanent Mission of Malta to the United Nations Office and other International Organisations. During this term, he served also as Consul General of Malta with jurisdiction over the Swiss Cantons of Bern, Fribourg, Vaud, and Jura. In 2000, he was appointed Counsellor. On his return to Valletta in summer of 2002, Mr. Agius he served as Diplomatic Counsellor to H.E. the President of Malta Prof. Guide de Marco where he remained until the summer of 2004 when he moved to the Embassy of Malta in Vienna, Austria. There he served as Deputy Head of Mission at the Permanent Mission of Malta to the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), the United Nations Organisation (UNO), the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and other International Organisations.
