Leanne Langer, Senior Manager of Compensation & Benefits for San Francisco-based Lithium Technologies will present at the Employer Healthcare & Benefits Congress happening September 25 – 28, in Washington D.C.
In her six years at Lithium Technologies, Leanne has helped the company expand from 100 employees to over 400 and from 3 to 10 global locations. In her role, she has spearheaded the development and deployment of highly progressive HR initiatives – in particular putting holistic wellness on the forefront of Lithium’s rewards offering – and has designed high value, unique and creative rewards programs to retain, engage and motivate the global team in the highly competitive tech sector.
Prior to Lithium, Leanne was part of the HR team at Calypso Technology where she focused primarily on developing and implementing HR best practices to increase employee engagement and retention. Formerly an IFPA-certified Sports Nutrition Specialist and Personal Trainer, Leanne has successfully bridged her experience of personal betterment with corporate HR – an initiative dear to her heart.
Leanne earned her BS in Biological Sciences at the University of California Davis. She also sits on the Board of Directors for Project Wreckless, a non-profit capacity development program for at-risk youth.
At the EHBC, Leanna will present on the topic “Employees Deserve 24/7 Culture of Wellness” along with LinkedIn’s Global Wellness Manager Michael Susi, and Grokker Inc. CEO Lorna Borenstein. This session will share her insight into how and why programs based around online video are being added to employee wellness programs worldwide to help boost program participation and share the key elements of making online wellness programs succeed, and will take place on Monday, Sept. 26 at 5:00 PM.
