Jonathan So, Senior Director of Health Care Initiatives at the Detroit Regional Chamber and 2015 Health Policy Fellow for the Center of Healthcare Research and Transformation will speak at the 8th Annual Employer Healthcare & Benefits Congress (EHBC) in Washington D.C. The conference will take place from September 25 – 28th, and will feature three days of education and networking in the nation’s capital.
In his role at the Detroit Regional Chamber, Jonathan oversees multiple programs and provides consultative services to small and medium-sized businesses on business growth, health care, and innovation. He also manages HealthForward, a program providing advisory services to large and medium-sized self-funded employers to improve their wellness programs and employee engagement and drive health value in these organizations. As a Policy Fellow for the Center of Healthcare Research and Transformation, Jonathan advises health service researchers and policy makers on the effects of health care legislation to the business community.
Jonathan has been a featured healthcare speaker on behalf of Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Michigan and appeared on Detroit Public Radio. He currently serves on the Automotive Industry Action Group’s Health Value Task Force, the Michigan Health and Hospital Association’s Business Advisory Council, and the Medical Main Street Advisory Council.
Jonathan’s presentation is titled “Millennial Engagement in Health Consumerism” which will help attendees to engage and educate the millennials in their workplace in their health.
