Dr. Jose Quesada will Explain Everything you Need to Know about Hospital Rankings and More

Jose Quesada, M.D., M.B.A. is Senior Director of Global Clinical Operations at Cigna. Prior to working at Cigna, Dr. Quesada was the Medical Director for Bupa Global Market Unit responsible for designing strategies to support a worldwide provider’s network for customers in more than 190 countries. Previously, he was the Director of Clinical Operations for Bupa Latin America.

 

Prior to joining Bupa, Dr. Quesada was Director of Finance and Operations at University of Miami Health System where he managed the relationship with international insurance companies and TPAs to provide access to thousands of international patients.

Dr. Quesada received his Medical Degree from Carabobo University and his Master of Business Administration from IESA in Venezuela. He also earned a certificate in Managing Healthcare Delivery from Harvard Business School and a certificate in International Healthcare Management from the University of Miami.

He has extensive experience in payer provider contracting, healthcare operations, revenue cycle, and strategic financial planning. He has held several executive positions in Latin America, the Middle East and the U.S.
