Christine Rankin is the Corporate Services Manager-Foodservices, Fitness & Work-Life for Hallmark Cards, Inc., and will present at next month’s Employer Healthcare & Benefits Congress ins Washington D.C., September 25 – 28. Christine has been responsible for foodservice, fitness, travel and work-life programming at Hallmark for 15 years.
Prior to that, she worked with Westin Hotels and Resorts starting in her home country of Canada and moving to several cities in the United States. Her many positions covered all divisions of hotel management.
Hallmark Cards, Inc. has been headquartered in Kansas City, MO for just over 100 years. They have a large foodservice program at the company headquarters and also operate dining services at 2 manufacturing plants and a distribution facility in the surrounding region. The foodservice has been self-operated since 1923 and they are one of the few corporations in the country that remains so.
The foodservice program is a key factor in supporting and maintaining a strong wellness culture at Hallmark.
At the EHBC, Christine will present along with her colleague Sally Luck, HR Director, Corporate Services and Wellness, Hallmark Cards, Inc. on the topic, Healthy Dining Options as an Enabler to Health & Well-being where they will share their approach to creating an environment to encourage employees to make good decisions regarding their food selection.
