The second session is titled Duty of Care: What is your Responsibility to Protect? This session is aimed to examine how Multinational Corporations can prepare for the real world. It covers all aspects of life from natural disasters to revolutions and political unrest. Also learn about travel insurance, is it still an option? Two experts from the field will help you decide what is best for your company and how to make sure you and your employers are well protected. Speaking in this session is Pablo Weiz– Regional Security Manager-Americas, Travel Security Services (full bio here) and Brendan Sharkey– Director, Individual Products, Worldwide Insurance Services, GeoBlue and HTH Worldwide (full bio here).

The third session is Center of Excellence v. Center of Medical Adequacy. Global Insurers and Multinational Companies don’t always have a strategy when it comes to expatriates or local employees insured to another country for medical care. What ends up happening is that these patients are sent to Centers of Excellence far away. These Centers are not only expensive but cost the patient time. In an attempt to solve this issue, global insurers and employers are turning to Centers of Medical Adequacy. These are closer and more cost effective for the patient. The session will compare the value of both Centers of Excellence versus a Centers of Medical Adequacy. Speaking on this panel is Jonathan Hart– Chief Medical Officer, International Medical Group (full bio here) and Jean Kramarz– Head of International Medical Network, AXA Assistance (full bio here).
