Brandi Williams Will Share How She Got a 73-year-old Chain Smoker to Try Kale

She will explain how she brought “skeptical truckers with diabetes” and “accountants who love doing calf raises” together through common health goals.

“It’s truly an honor to be able to share what we have done to incorporate wellness into our workplace at Producers Dairy Foods,” said Williams. “I look forward to sharing some of our key learnings and opportunities in hopes to assist other companies facing similar issues with health and wellness. Producers Dairy Foods is a 3rd generation family-owned and operated dairy company comprised of farming, manufacturing, sales, administrative and distribution functions. Brandi’s responsibilities include training and development, recruitment, total rewards (compensation, health & wellness, employee engagement), employee relations, payroll, compliance and occupational safety.

In her 17 years of HR experience, Brandi has worked for both the public and private sectors, for both national and global organizations. She currently resides in Clovis, California.

Her session at the EHBC is titled “How do you get a 73-year-old chain smoker to try kale?” which she will present alongside Brian Berchtold, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at hubbub health. Attendees will hear how Brandi brought those two group together and will learn how to determine the health and wellness needs of a diverse employee population, how to create a mobile wellness program for various technological skillsets and how to get leadership buy-in and wellness champions that get results.
